01.01.01- and what better way to celebrate than to bring the very 1st issue of the hold back...am I feelin a little nostalgic? well, to those that know me well, I'm actually feeling myself - zzzzzing!...CHEERS to you Dave Dembinski for gettin us all involved in this revolution! --- and now, the pipe is packed, the bookstores overcrowded with overpriced name brand capacino that nobody likes, condom prices are SWELLINg and the hold is jammed-packed with all of the greats! so let's get on with it and best wishes to all the readers and writers who support the hold - here's to a herbal/healthy/prosperous new year - BONG!(klinktoke) - I know! what this place needs is a lava lamp! (gawd, I feel so sterile under these lights - heh)
o.k... listen up, read it and leap into the-hold.com! - 'bong hit!' umm I mean... night dave! XO's cait
Dave Dembinski will answer just about any question you have. Dave claims it might not be a correct answer, but it's better than nothing, right? so, when you're through with Dave's column "Untitled", visit Dave's new Virtual Help Desk and ask awaaaaaaaY!
dickens' journal dickens continues his submissions via the Spokane County Jail - awaiting sentencing and tells of Christmas behind bars.
funkmeisterGoo returns to the hold and brings insanity back where it belongs with the Harangue! welcome back you gooRU you!
marc ellis presents his play "Double Espresso" - a bit of the scenerio: Coffee house w/tables. At one table, two married couples are seated. Upstage, a few steps or a stairway leading to a door or perhaps a picture of a door. Elsewhere onthe stage is a man wearing a sandwich board. . .Written and Music Performed by Marc Ellis truly a classic - don't miss "Double Espresso!"
haze again and over again I can not express the thanx and appreciation I have for this gurl and her talent!: the way she decorates the hold and the designs of our cafe(S) are phenominal and her own personal creations at Thunder Sandwich and Urban Decay are outta sight! Haze also accepts commissioned work request via email!
Jan McLaughlin - alas! I have found the princess at large and am honored to plant a spot (g) for her at the hold! after you read her royal poetry, see why the Princess-at-Large declares "All poets and poetry banished and banned!" surely Jan is an ediction ummm errr addiction or maybe I mean erection...(heh)
kurt nimmo - elaine thomas have opened the doors to the new interweave(zine) whatta grand opening! congrats! (here's yer first virtual $ bill) - Kudo's!
Debra 'Dee' Stephens might be a gurl from Canada and she mentions something about doing things with shovels and umbrella's, but don't let that deter you from reading the great poetry and yes! Dee is an awesome arteest on the looose! welcome to the hold Dee!
